Since scoring a home run in 2001 with his hit single, 'No Such Thing,' John Mayer started building upon his rise from singer/songwriter to Grammy winning superstar, winning Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for 'Your Body is a Wonderland' from his album 'Room for Squares.' His followup, 'Heavier Things' would strike Grammy gold once again for the single 'Daughters' earning Mayer an award for Song of the Year. He toured in 2013 on the "Born and Raised" tour after a long hiatus due to granulomas discovered in his throat. Green Day

Emerging from Northern California's underground punk scene, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tre Cool formed Green Day in 1989, building a cult following during the early '90s with albums like '1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hour' and 'Kerplunk.' Their major-label debut, 'Dookie' was released in the spring of 1994, yielding a hit with 'Longview.' Superstars by the the time the singles 'When I Come Around' and 'Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)' became entrenched as Top-40 fare, their punk revivalist image faded a bit, giving the band time to retreat. They reemerged in 2004 with the Grammy-winning 'American Idiot,' which spawned a Tony-winning Broadway musical. Now, Green Day returns to support their new album, "Revolution Radio."
